Технически обоснованная часть заготовки печатной платы, не занятая проводящим рисунком печатной платы и предназначенная для контактирования, расположения базовых отверстий, улучшения расположения базовых отверстий, улучшения распределения тока при гальваническом осаждении, разделения групповой заготовки печатной платы на отдельные печатные платы на конечной стадии обработки, расположения тест-купонов и элементов, необходимых для контроля и обеспечения технологического процесса изготовления печатной платы.

Технологическое поле располагается по периметру заготовки печатной платы и между отдельными печатными платами на групповой заготовке.
